The classical guitar duet GriAl was established in 2009 by two laureates of international competitions Aleksei Sokolov, Grigory Baranov.
These two talented guitarists have already managed to achieve recognition in Russia and European countries and success in competition winning “virtuosos of the guitar”
in Saint-Petersburg in 2010.
In the season of 2011-2012 the ensemble was invited to cooperate with the well-known Moscow ensemble of ancient music “Telemann Consort”.
GriAl has also performed concerts of A.Vivaldi with an orchestra in the highly regarded Moscow International House of Music
and will continue performing with Telemann Consort in the 2012-2013 season where they will play in the program “Musical Rarities”.

클래식 기타 듀오 'GriAl'(그리알)은 국제 콩쿠르 수상자들인 알렉세이 소꼴로프와 그리고리 바라노프가 2009년에 결성한 듀오로서 러시아와 유럽 등 벌써 많은 나라에서 인정을 받았다.
'그리알' 듀오는 2010년 상트페테르부르크에서 열린 국제 기타 콩쿨 '기타 비르투오소' 에서 우승을 하면서
두각을 나타내기 시작했다.
2011-2012년 시즌에는 러시아 모스크바의 유명한 콜렉티브인 'Telemann Consort (텔레만 콘솔트)'의 연주 제안을 받고
고전 악기로 구성된 오케스트라와 '국제 뮤직 하우스'에서
기타 듀오를 위해 편곡된 비발디 협주곡을 성공적으로 협연을 마쳤다.
그리고 2012 -2013년 시즌에도 바로크 앙상블인 'Telemann Consort' 와 함께 연주 작업을 계속 할 예정이다.
In 2012, the ensemble GriAl performed at highly regarded festivals in Italy and Switzerland and also honed their skills under the guidance of the famous masters of the guitar:
David Russell, Alvaro Pieri, Julio Tampalini and the duet «Gruber&Maklar».

Grigory and Alexey both graduated from the State Classical Academy of Maimonid in the class of Professor Evgeny Yulievich Finkelstein,
one of the greatest guitarists of Russia and the successor of the school of the great Russian guitarist and pedagogue Alexander Frauchi.
Having high technical ability the guitarists first learn the art of interpretation, seeking deeper understanding of the material and the creation of an integrated musical canvas.

The guitarists use finely made guitars of one and the same master (Brahman, South Korea) which brings unity and execution integrity.

두 연주자 모두 같은 기타 제작자 'Brahman(브라만,한국)' 의 우수한 악기의 소유자들이다.

Grial’s first album was “Time Lines” – the music of different epochs and styles.
Time Lines program was released in March of this year during a tour of the cities of the Far East of Russia.
Grial are currently preparing a new program, which will showcase some of their greatest works written specifically for guitar duet in the original,
and also transpositions of the masterpieces of world classical music including transcriptions of lute works of Renaissance and Baroque.
